Biography
Despite growing up in a small and close-knit environment in the German countryside, from an early age on, I have been interested in international political and economic developments. At the age of fifteen, I decided to study at a High School in the USA. This was the first major step on my journey to discover the world.
Since then, I have gained various international experiences by studying International Relations, European Studies as well as Latin American Studies in Buenos Aires, Prague, Trento and Maastricht. Further, I developed practical skills while working for the multinational Volkswagen Group and successfully participating in Model United Nations conferences.
At the beginning of 2022, I joined the team of Anna Lührmann, State Minister for European Affairs and Climate in the German Federal Government. I work as a policy advisor in her Bundestag office. Among others, I manage her social media accounts and follow debates on European matters such as EU enlargement, institutional reforms and rule of law.
In addition, I love to engage with different cultures and to build personal relationships with wonderful people across the world. Furthermore, I am fascinated by and passionate about the European idea and the role of the EU in the world. I enjoy interdisciplinary approaches and enjoy engaging with new topics.
